Founded in 1993, Hunan College of Foreign Studies traces its origins to Liuyang Foreign Language School. In 1997, it was renamed Liuyang Foreign Language Institute. In February 2006, with the official approval of the People's Government of Hunan Province, it was established as a full-time higher vocational college and formally adopted its current name, Hunan College of Foreign Studies.
Our college operates across two campuses located in Changsha and Liuyang, with a combined area exceeding 700,000 square meters. The main campus in Changsha houses eight academic schools offering 48 specialized programs across multiple disciplines.
