学院简介Introduction

国际教育学院是以发展学校国际文化交流与合作为目的的中外合作学院，旨在依托"外语+专业"、"外语+外语"、"专业+外语"的专业特色，引进国外大学优质教育资源，为社会培养高规格实用型、复合型、外向型、国际型的高素质人才。

The School of International Studies is a Sino-foreign cooperative school dedicated to advancing the university’s international cultural exchanges and cooperation. Building on its distinctive programs combining “Foreign Language + Major,” “Foreign Language + Foreign Language,” and “Major + Foreign Language”, the school introduces high-quality educational resources from overseas universities to cultivate high-caliber talent with practical skills, interdisciplinary expertise, an international outlook, and global competence for society.

学院现有招生专业9个，与美国、英国、法国、西班牙、日本、韩国、白俄罗斯等国家的大学签订升学协议。本着"让任何人都能从这里走向世界"的信念，为"湖外走向世界"创建一条畅通无阻的友谊桥梁。

The school currently offers nine majors and has established pathway agreements with universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Belarus and other countries. Guided by the belief that "Empowering Everyone to Embark on a Global Journey”, the school serves as a bridge of friendship, creating a smooth pathway for Hunan College of Foreign Studies to connect with the world.

学校于2022年获得来华留学生招生资格，招收来华学历生，同时开设汉语预科（非学历）。留学生培养以“中文+”模式对接国际中文教育领域的实际需求，设置汉语听说读写核心课程，HSK 强化训练、跨境电子商务、中医康养、无人机技术等选修课程，同时依托宋旦汉字艺术博物馆、大泽湖国际人才社区等校外实践教学基地，将语言课堂延伸至真实文化场景与社区环境，使学生在沉浸式体验中实现语言能力与文化素养的双重提升，培养具有可持续发展能力的高层次国际中文人才。

In 2022, the school was authorized to enroll international students and began admitting degree-seeking international students, while also offering non-degree Chinese preparatory programs. Tailored to the practical demands of international Chinese language education, the school adopts a “Chinese Language +” training model for international students. The curriculum covers core courses in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as elective courses including HSK intensive training, cross-border e-commerce, traditional Chinese medicine health care, and drone technology. Drawing on off-campus practical teaching bases such as the Songdan Chinese Character Art Museum and Dazehu International Talent Community, the school extends language teaching to authentic cultural and community settings. Through immersive learning, students achieve dual improvement in language proficiency and cultural literacy, and grow into high-level professionals in international Chinese language education with the capacity for sustainable development.
